Pilot studies and further soil research

The realization
Since its establishment in 1993, BioSoil has conducted more than 230 remediation projects. Based on this experience, our team carefully realizes the remediation operation. All activities are conducted in accordance with agreements and specifications and in close consultation with the interested parties. Obviously, all prevailing statutory regulations are always complied with. To prevent disaster all security plans are verified by an independent agency. This agency is also in charge of the supervision on the site.

Environmental supervision
BioSoil has a team of specialized employees available for the environmental supervision of remediation operations. They take care of the complete environmental supervision of the remediation operation, including:

• (preliminary)consultations with the authorities
• making reports
• applying for remediation specific environmental permits and relevant subsidies
• Consultations with representatives from enforcement bodies, permit granting departments, environmental services and health and safety at Work inspectors.

Project management

Monitoring, final and other assessments
BioSoil also takes care of the monitoring and the (interim) reports on the progress of the remediation operation taking into account all statutory regulations and standards. To prevent any conflict of interest BioSoil always collaborates with a number of independent partners for final and other major assessments. Clients are welcome to assign this task to any other suitable party. In support of this selection BioSoil can supply you with a survey of the prevailing quality criteria and the Dutch companies meeting these criteria.
Management and maintenance of remediation and purification installations
Some remediation operations may continue for a number of years. Because of the specialist character of the in-house developed systems, BioSoil employees will conduct the necessary maintenance work on the applied remediation and purification installations. Specialized employees have had a specific in-house training for this job. Obviously they also have all facilities required to quickly and efficiently repair any possible disturbances. To enable this the equipment is facilitated with an online monitoring and disturbance report system, which allows for monitoring the functioning of the remediation equipment anywhere in the world at any desired moment.
